Details of the 1 oz Platinum White Horse of Hanover 2021 

The coin White Horse of Hanover 2021 minted from platinum with a fineness of  999.5 / 1,000 has a fine weight of  31.10 g, the diameter is  32.69 mm and the thickness of the coin is 2.7 mm. The coin edge of the platinum coin is fluted and the face value is 100 pounds (British pounds). However, the value in euros is several times higher, as it is calculated according to the current platinum rate.

Motif Side:

The design shows a rearing white horse, which was the horse of King George of Hanover. White horses are considered sacred animals in mythology around the world and are associated with wisdom and strength. They traditionally represent speed, intellect and masculine strength. The English county of Kent still carries the symbol on its flag and coat of arms. In addition, the following inscription can be found on the design side of the coin: "WHITE HORSE OF HANOVER 1 oz FINE PLATINUM 999.5 2021". The initials "JC" stand for the artist Jody Clark, who designed the motif. 

Value side:

On the value side is the portrait of the British Queen Elizabeth II, which was also created by the coin designer Jody Clark. On the edge of the coin is the face value "100 POUNDS", the name of the British Queen "ELIZABETH II" and the letters "D.G.REG.F.D". These stand for the Latin lettering "Dei Gratia Regina Fidei Defensor". Translated, this lettering means "By the Grace of God Queen, Defender of the Faith".
